Natural Healing Acupuncture was established by Stephanie Balthazor. She has a Masters of Science degrees in Oriental Medicine and is Magna Cum Laude graduate from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. She has had several years of clinical experience, including diagnostics, hundreds of patient acupuncture treatments and ancillary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) care. In addition, she has undergone specialized training in acupuncture detoxification and is certified as an acupuncture detoxification specialist.
Prior to studying acupuncture and Chinese Herbals, Stephanie was a research technologist for nine years. Her research experience was obtained at Marquette University, Bloodcenter of Wisconsin, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her bachelor’s degree is from Marquette University, with a major in Molecular Biology. “In my research experience, what became clear to me is the importance of maintaining balance in all forms of life, which is essential to having a quality life experience. Balance is fundamental to the theory of TCM and is what drew me to this medicine. I believe this perspective can help guide me and those I work with into a better understanding of themselves and their health, as well as the world around them. Knowledge and balanced living brings better health, and this is what I wish to impart to my patients. It is also my hope that I can bring about an appreciation for Western and Eastern science and demonstrate their ultimate compatibility.”
In Traditional Chinese Medicine a person is seen as a complete mind, body and spirit. My practice honors this view and strives to heal a person on all levels, bringing balance and integration of the self for a whole and healthy life.
