Ray of Hope Reflexology was established in 2003 by Lila Mueller in Belgium, WI. Her base training and Reflexology Certification is through the International Institute of Reflexology, St. Petersburg, FL. In 2006, Lila became certified and is a Founding Member of ART (Advanced Reflexology Technique) in London, England. Since 2006, Lila has received Diplomas in the Sorensensistem™ techniques, Barcelona, Spain – Facial Reflexology, Ocular Therapy (a Facial Reflexology Concept), TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Neuro Foot Reflexology, Infertility and Hormone Reflex Therapy, Japanese Cosmo Lift and Temprana Reflex Therapist. Lila had received her ARCB (American Reflexology Certification Board [national]) certification in 2009.
Lila is one of several Temprana Reflex Therapists in the USA. A Temprana Reflex Therapy treats brain trauma, illness and injury using reflexology techniques. Currently, Lila is the only Temprana Reflex Therapist located in the Mid-western United States.

Josef Eugster - Taiwan), Cranio-Sacral Method (Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson – United Kingdom), Chi-Reflexology (Moss Arnold - Australia), The Flocco Method (USA), R.E.S.T. (Release Emotional Stress and Tension) (Dr. Pat Lawson -USA), Reflexotherapy of the Feet (with Scar Therapy) (Hannah Marquardt – Germany), Korean Hand Therapy (Dr. Dan Lobash, PhD., L.Ac.-USA ). Currently, Lila is enrolled in the Australia College of Chi-Reflexology in Winmalee, Blue Mountain, NSW, Australia, working towards a degree in Chi-Reflexology.
Lila’s professional memberships include: International Institute of Reflexology, A.R.T., International Council of Reflexologists, International Reflexology Association, Reflexology Association of America (Vice President), Reflexology Practitioners of WI, and the North Carolina Reflexology Association.
Lila is formerly the Village Clerk-Treasurer for the Village Belgium where she served the Village for 29 years. She is also a Certified Municipal Clerk. While in politics, she studied Reflexology. Lila has always had an interest in Natural Health. In the 1980’s, Lila developed severe Fibromyalgia. Relief was sought from many practitioners. After discovering Reflexology, Lila continued treatments for approximately five months after which all of her symptoms and pain disappeared. That was the turning point for Lila to work toward another career - Reflexology. She desired to help the many people who medically fall between the cracks when no diagnosis or hope exists for them. Reflexology is the modality of last resorts.
In addition to being a practitioner, Lila also teaches Facial Reflexology, TCM and Neuro Foot Reflexology and Korean Hand Therapy.
